Day 01: Madurai Airport – Transfer to Hotel + Sightseeing

Scheduled arrive Madurai Airport / Railway station; meet our representative who will assist you to transfer to hotel. After fresh up explore the temple town which is a 2,600 years old famous temple town of south India. Visit the famous Meenakshi Temple, Mariamman Teppakulam (Great Tank) and the Palace of Tirumalai Nayak.
Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 02: Madurai – Tanjore ( 190 Kms, 4 Hrs drive )

Have breakfast in the hotel and later drive to Tanjore which was once the capital of the ancient state ruled by the Cholas. On reaching check into hotel. Tanjore is popular for its temples and paintings. Here you will be visiting the famous Brihadeeswarar temple housing a huge Shiva lingam and a stone sculpture of the Nandi bull.

Day 03: Tanjore - Kumbakonam / Swamimalai

TTake breakfast in the hotel and later drive to Kumbakonam which is known for Swamimalai Murugan Temple - is a Hindu temple located in the township of Swamimalai. There are around 188 Hindu temples within the municipal limits of Kumbakonam. Apart from these, there several thousand temples around the town thereby giving the town the sobriquets temple town and City of temples. The most important temples present in Kumbakonam are the Sarangapani temple, the Kumbeswara temple and the Ramaswamy temple.

Day 04: Kumbakonam - Mahabalipuram ( 238 Kms, 5 Hrs drive ) – Chennai ( 70 Kms, 1.5 Hrs drive )

Post breakfast in the hotel drive to Chennai. Enroute you may visit Mahabalipuram and enjoy sightseeing including visit of Shore Temple, The Five Raths, and the Arjuna's Penance. In the evening arrive Chennai and check into hotel.

Day 05: Chennai – Full Day City tour

Take breakfast in the hotel and later proceed for full day city tour and visit Vadapalani Murugan Temple, Fort St. George, Kapaleeswar Temple and Marina Beach. Rest of time free for shopping. Back to hotel.

Day 06: Chennai – Airport departure

Take breakfast in the hotel and later scheduled transfer to Chennai Airport to board the flight for onward journey. Tour ends with happy memories.
