Tour Description

03 Jyotirlinga Tour with Shirdi covers three of Lord Shiva’s 12 sacred Jyotirlingas plus Sai Baba’s blessings - usually visiting Trimbakeshwar in Nashik, Grishneshwar near Ellora, and either Bhimashankar or another nearby Jyotirlinga, with Shirdi added for darshan at Sai Baba’s shrine. It’s a compact circuit through Maharashtra’s temple towns and hills.

  • Day 01 : Arrive Pune Airport – drive to Bhimashankar Jyotirlingas Temple – Ahmednagar (225 Kms)

    Scheduled arrive Pune Airport, meet our representative who will warmly welcome and depart for Bhimashankar Jyotirlingas Temple located 110Kms far from Pune. Bhimashankar isalso the source of the river Bhima, which flows southeast and merges with the Krishna River near Raichur. One can go to this place, full of natural beauty and lovely scenery. It is a good paradise for nature lovers, trekkers, jungle lovers and bird watchers as well. Post prayers depart for Ahmednagar for night stay.

  • Day 02 : Ahmednagar – Grishneshwar Jyotirlingas Temple – Aurangabad (220 Kms, 5 Hrs drive)

    Post morning breakfast at hotel check out and depart for Aurangabad.
    Enroute visitGrineshwar Temple and perform the prayers. This Jyotirlinga is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines mentioned in the Shiva Purana. The word Ghrneshwar means "lord of compassion". The temple is an important pilgrimage site in Shaivism tradition of Hinduism, which considers it as the last or twelfth Jyotirlinga (linga of light). Post prayers continue your drive toward Auragabad city and check into hotel.

  • Day 03 : Aurangabad – City Tours / Shirdi (120 Kms, 3.5 Hrs drive)

    Post breakfast in the hotel proceed for Half day sightseeing tour of Aurangabad. The Pani Chakki is a late 17th century water mill that displays the engineering skills of Malik Ambar, the architect of Aurangabad City. It is surrounded by a picturesque garden-landscape dotted with fish tanks. The Bibi-ka-maqbara was built by Aurangzeb’s son as a tribute to his mother, Begum Rabia-ud-Durani. It is a replica of the Taj Mahal, and stands out as the only example of Mughal architecture on the Deccan Plateau. Also visit the Aurangabad Caves No. 7 & 8, caves from the Mahayana school of Buddhism and Daulatabad Fort, a labyrinthine structure that was once covered in Persian tiles.

    In the afternoon depart for Shirdi. In the evening arrive and check into hotel. If time available visit the temple for prayers.

  • Day 04 : Shirdi – Nashik (100 Kms, 2.5 Hrs drive)

    This morning visit Mahasamadhi temple of Sri Sai Baba. Abode of one of Maharashtra’s most revered saint – Sai Baba of Shirdi. Popularly known as the ‘Child of God’, Sai Baba preached tolerance towards all religions and the message of universal brotherhood. Every activity at Shirdi revolves around the vast temple complex dedicated to Sai Baba. Devotees start queuing up in the early hours of dawn to catch a glimpse and seek the blessings of the life-size statue of Sai Baba. Later on enjoy local sightseeing of Shirdi and visit Dwarkamani Mosque where the Baba meditated and slept on alternate nights. Near the mosque, in a corridor is the dhuni or eternal flame that burns day and night. Other places of importance are the Gurusthan, the Kandoba Temple, Shani Mandir, Narsimha Mandir, Changdev Maharaj Samadhi and the Sakori. Evening depart for Nashik.
    Take your Dinner in the hotel and stay overnight in Hotel.

  • Day 05 : Nashik (Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlingas) – Mumbai (160Kms)

    This morning visit some of the most famous temple of Nashik including Kalaram Temple, the Naroshankar Temple and Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlingas Temple or Tryambakeshwar is an ancient Hindu temple in the town of Trimbak, in the Nashik District of Maharashtra, 28 km from the city of Nashik. Post prayers depart for Mumbai. In the evening arrive and check into hotel. Rest of time free at leisure.
    Overnight stay in hotel.

  • Day 06 : Mumbai – Sightseeing / Airport Departure

    Post breakfast in the hotel check out and proceed for sightseeing including Gateway of India – one of the most famous landmarks built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to India followed Siddhi Vinayak Temple and Choupatty Beach etc. Later in afternoon scheduled transfer to Mumbai Airport to board the flight for Varanasi.
    Tour Ends with happy memories.
