Tour Description

Ujjain & Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Tours take you to two of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar Temple, on the banks of the Shipra River, is known for its powerful Bhasma Aarti, while Omkareshwar sits on the island-shaped Omkar Hill in the Narmada River, offering serene temple vibes and scenic ghats. Together, they offer a deeply spiritual journey through history, devotion, and nature.

  • Day 01 : Arrive Indore/ Airport / Rly station- Transfer to Omakareshwar (75Kms, 2/2.5 Hrs drive)

    Scheduled arrive Indore Airport/ Rly station; meet our representative who will warmly welcome and later depart for Omkareshwar. In the afternoon arrive and check into hotel. If time available visit Omkareshwar temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlingas shrines of Shiva. It is on an island called Mandhata or Shivpuri in the Narmada River at Khandwa district in Madhya Pradesh, the shape of the island is said to be like the Devanagari ? symbol.

    There are two main temples of Lord Shiva here, one to Omkareshwar (whose name means "Lord of Omkara" or the "Lord of the Om sound") located in the island and one to Mamleshwar (whose name means "Immortal Lord" or "lord of the Immortals or Devas") located on the south bank of Narmada River on the mainland. Post prayers and worship, back to hotel.
    Overnight stay In Hotel.

  • Day 02 : Omkareshwar - Ujjain (120Kms, 3.5Hrs drive)

    This morning visit the temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas holiest Hindu sites of India. Here you visit the temple of Shri Omkar Mandhata, Siddhnath temple and the temple of Gauri Somnath followed by visit the huge Nandi bull carved on the hillside opposite the temple of Gauri Somnath. Apart from Omkareshwar temples, you can also do boat ride at your own cost in Narmada river.
    Overnight stay In Hotel.

    Post breakfast depart for Ujjain. In the afternoon arrive and check into hotel. Post fresh up visit the temple for special prayers in the temple of Mahakaleshwar, also known as Mahakal Shrine is one of the 12 Jyotirngas dedicated to Lord Shiva. The significance of this Temple is too much because, it is the only temple in which the Jyortingas facing toward South.If time available visit some other renowned temples such as Kalbhairawa Temple, Chintaman Ganesh Temple, Baba Ganesh ji Ka Mandir and Ram Ghat etc. Spend time in market for shopping and back to hotel.
    Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 03 : Ujjain - Indore (70Kms) Sightseeing / Indore Airport Departure

    Early morning revisit the temple for Bhasma Aarti (at your cost), which begins every day at 4 am. People from all walks of life visit Ujjain with a desire of beholding this lifetime experience. The early morning peaceful and calm environment at the temple is what fills you with immense positivity.

    Back to hotel for breakfast. Later check out and depart for Indore. Here you can enjoy sightseeing tour of Indore and visit Indore Museum, Chhatris, LalBagh Palace, Kanch Mandir, Mahatma Gandhi Hall and the Nehru Park. Later in the evening scheduled transfer Indore Airport to board the flight for onward journey.
    Tour Ends with happy memories.
