Cochin - Munnar - Periyar - Alleppey - Cochin

Tour Description

A complete Kerala experience in 5 days. Discover colonial charm in Cochin, misty tea estates and waterfalls in Munnar, wildlife and spice gardens in Periyar, Thekkady, and unwind on a private houseboat in Alleppey’s backwaters. Balanced pace with sightseeing, nature, and relaxation for families and couples. Includes 4-star stays, daily breakfast, overnight AC houseboat with all meals, and private AC transfers.

  • Day 01 : Arrive Cochin Airport / Ernakulam Rly Station – Munnar (140Kms, 4Hrs drive) (NoMeal)

    Scheduled arrive Cochin Airport, meet our representative/chauffeur and later depart for Munnar by surface driving you through the scenic pathways dotted with pepper and cardamom plantation, tea plantations and thick forests. Enroute visit Velara and Cheeraphaya waterfalls for photoshoot. Continue your drive. On arrival at Munnar check into the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.
    Overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Day 02 : Munnar - Sightseeing (B/F)

    Take breakfast in the hotel and later enjoys the sightseeing tour of Munnar. Walk through the green carpet of well organized tea bushes; watch the beautiful mist and romantic green meadows, romantic view of the waterfall. Visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Attukad Waterfalls, Tea Plantation, Tea Factory, and Eravikulam National park etc. Rest of the day free at leisure.
    Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 03 : Munnar – Periyar (130Kms, 3.5Hrs drive) (B/F)

    Morning drive to Thekkady. Throughout the journey enjoy the panoramic view of the nature with occasional waterfalls and streams. Enroute visit Spice and Bee Plantation. On arrival at Thekkady, check into the hotel. Later in the afternoon experience the beauty of the surrounding areas. Here you have opportunity to see varied species of birds and animals in their natural. Enjoy the boat ride (own cost) in Periyar Sanctuary. Later enjoy Elephant ride , Kathakali Show , Kalari martial art show and fountain show at own cost. Back to hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

  • Day 04 : Periyar – Alleppey (145Kms, 4.5Hrs drive) (B,L,D)

    After breakfast at hotel drive to Alleppey. On arrival check in to houseboat for a Kerala houseboat tour over the scenic backwaters. Sit back and relax at the houseboat and enjoy the scenic beauty as the boat passes through the emerald green paddy fields, refreshing natural beauty, exotic resorts and the rustic villages.
    Overnight stay in Houseboat.

  • Day 05 : Alleppey – Cochin (70 Kms) / Airport departure (B/f)

    Post breakfast at Houseboat check out and depart for Cochin. On reaching proceed for half day city tour including Marine drive, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Net etc. Rest of time free for shopping until scheduled transfer to Cochin Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
    Tour Ends with happy memories.
