Tour Description

Experience the best of Nepal with our Kathmandu & Nagarkot 4 Days / 3 Nights Tour. Explore the cultural heart of Kathmandu with visits to UNESCO sites like Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Bhaktapur. Then escape to the peaceful hill station of Nagarkot to witness breathtaking sunrise views over the Himalayas. This package includes comfortable hotel stays, daily breakfast, private transfers and guided sightseeing, making it perfect for families, couples and first-time travelers to Nepal.

  • Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu Airport – Transfer to hotel

    Scheduled arrive Kathmandu Airport, meet our representative who will welcome and tranfer to hotel. Rest of time free at leisure.
    Overnight stay in hotel.

  • Day 02 : Kathmandu – Sightseeing / Nagarkot (32 Kms)

    After breakfast you proceed for full-day sightseeing to Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

    Pashupatinathis situated 5 km east of Kathmandu. It is the temple of Lord Shiva. Pathupatinath, with its two-tiered golden roof and silver doors is considered one of the holiest Hindu shrines. It is also among the world heritage site.

    You will then visit Boudhanath Stupa, which lies 3 kms east of Pashupati. This ancient colossal Buddhist stupa is one of the biggest in the world. It was listed as a UNESCO Heritage Monument in 1979.

    Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the plaza in front of the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom. It is one of the three Durbar Squares which lies within Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in the current town of Bhaktapur, which lies 13 km east of Kathmandu. While the complex consists of at least four distinct square (Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square and Pottery Square), the whole area is informally known as the Bhakapur Durbar Square, and is a highly visited site in Kathmandu.

    After that you will proceed to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a hill station 32 km east of Kathmandu. You can enjoy the beautiful country side view on the way to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a popular destination to view Himalayas, sunset and sunrise.

  • Day 03 : Nagarkot - Kathmandu

    After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. Check in the hotel and relax for an hour. In the afternoon, proceed for half-day sightseeing to Swyambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

    Swayambhunath is one of the world's most glorious Buddhist chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire base are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is a famous world heritage site with a magnificent view of Kathmandu valley.

    Kathmandu Durbar Square is also a world heritage site where you will see the Taleju Temple, built by King MahendraMalla in 1549 A.D.; KalBhairav, the God of destruction; Nautale Durbar; Nasal Chowk; GaddiBaithak; the statue of King PratapMalla and the Jagannath. In the same site you will also visit the living goddess Kumari and Hanuman Dhoka.

  • Day 04 : Kathmandu– Departure

    After breakfast, you are free till the time of check out. Transfer to the Tribhuwan International Airport to catch your return flight.
