Amritsar (2N) – Dharamshala (1N) - Amritsar

Tour Description

Experience Punjab and Himachal in one trip with our 3N/4D Amritsar-Dharamshala tour. Spend 2 nights in Amritsar visiting the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and Wagah Border ceremony, then drive to Dharamshala for 1 night to explore McLeodganj, Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsu Waterfall, and local Tibetan markets. Package includes AC hotels, private cab, sightseeing, and transfers. Perfect for a short spiritual and hill station holiday from Delhi, Chandigarh, or Amritsar.

  • Day 01 : Arrive Amritsar Railway station

    Scheduled arrive Amritsar Railway station, meet our representative who will welcome and later assist to transfer to hotel. Post fresh up visit the Golden Temple for prayers. Back to hotel by your own. Overnight stay in Hotel.

  • Day 02 : Amritsar – Half Day Sightseeing + Excursion of Wagha Border

    After fresh up proceed for Half day sightseeing and visit Durgiana Mandir, Baba Atal Rai Tower and the Jalianwallah Bagh and Golden Temple.   In the afternoon go on excursion tour of Wagha Border to watch the retreat ceremony performed between Indian and Pakistani soldiers. Flags ceremony is daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have followed since 1959. This ceremony takes place every evening before sunset at the Wagha border.

    Back to Hotel.  Overnight stay at hotel. 

  • Day 03 : Amritsar – Dharamshala (120Kms, 4 Hrs drive)

    Take breakfast in the hotel depart for Dharamshala earlier known with the name of Bhagsu. Upon arrival in the town check into hotel. It is very beautiful town in the upper reaches of Kangra Valley and is surrounded by coniferous forests. The lower reaches is known as McLeodGanj is dwelling place of the Dalai Lama. After fresh up explore the beautiful town with Chauffeur.

    Overnight stay in Hotel

  • Day 04 : Dharamshala – Amritsar railway

    Take breakfast in the hotel and spend time at leisure until scheduled transfer to Amritsar Railway station to board the train for onward destination.

    Tour ends with happy memories.
