Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park (1n) – Shillong (3n) – Manas National Park (2 N) – Guwahati (1n) - Sundarbans National Park(2n) – Kolkata (2n)

Tour Description

A wildlife and culture-packed 11N/11N / 12D Northeast tour. Start in Guwahati before heading to Kaziranga National Park for 1 night to spot one-horned rhinos, elephants, and wild buffalo on jeep or elephant safaris. Spend 3 nights in Shillong with day trips to Cherrapunjee’s waterfalls, Mawlynnong village, and Dawki’s Umngot River. Continue to Manas National Park for 2 nights of jungle safaris in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to tigers, golden langurs, and rare birds. Return to Guwahati, then fly to Kolkata for a 2-night Sundarbans cruise through mangrove creeks to spot Royal Bengal Tigers, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. End with 2 nights in Kolkata exploring Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, and colonial landmarks. Includes hotels, safaris, permits, private transfers, and guided sightseeing — ideal for wildlife lovers who want Meghalaya’s hills and Bengal’s heritage too.

  • Day 01 : Arrive Guwahati ( By Flight) – drive to Kaziranga (250Kms, 5.5 Hrs drive)

    Scheduled arrive Guwahati Airport, meet our representative who will welcome and depart for your next destination Kaziranga National Park. In the afternoon arrive and check into hotel. Rest of time free at leisure.

    Important Facts of Kaziranga :- 

    - Elephant ride duration is approx 45 minutes & 1st ride: 5.00am and 2nd ride - 6.00am, (wake-up call half an hour before the ride)

    - Jeep safari timing morning 7am to 10am is the entry timing.

    - Jeep safari in the evening 2 pm to 3 pm is the entry timing.

    - The park has 3 ranges- Central range / Western range / Eastern range and the duration of jeep safari is approximately 2 hours only.

    - Allocation of elephant riding seats and timings are regulated by the forest department, Kaziranga National Park, Govt. of Assam.

    - The tickets for the same are issued on the previous evening of the ride after 7:30 PM.

    - Confirmed Elephant Ride seats tickets are pre-paid and hence cannot be refunded in case the guest fails to avail of the same

  • Day 02 : Kaziranga National Park (Elephant Safari + Jeep Safari)

    Early morning explore Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Apart from world's endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here. We will return to the resort for breakfast. Afternoon we have arranged a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. Evening come back to the hotel.

  • Day 03 : Kaziranga -Shillong (Approx 5.5/06 hrs driving)

    Morning transfer to Shillong. On the way visit Umiam Lake (Guests can do boat rides on direct payment basis). On arrival at Shillong check –in at the hotel. In the evening guests can walk around the Local Iewduh( Police Bazar) Market at Shillong.

  • Day 04 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee-Shillong

    This morning, you will proceed to a day excursion to Cherrapunjee (54 km from Shillong) Cherrapunjee, the capital of the British till 1874 affords an astounding perspective on the essence of Meghalaya, ‘The Abode of Clouds. Visit the waterfalls, View points, etc. After sightseeing back to Shillong via Elephant falls .

  • Day 05 : Cherrapunjee– Mawlynnong – Shillong

    Morning after an early breakfast, you will proceed for a full day excursion to, Mawlynnong Village with Living Root Bridge has earned the distinction of being the Cleanest Village in Asia the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Mawlynnong nestled in the pristine hill state of Meghalaya, is along the Indo-Bangla border known as Dawki Village. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness.

  • Day 06 : Shillong – drive to Manas National Park (180Kms) Guwahati

    Post breakfast at hotel check out and depart for Manas via sightseeing of Guwahati including kamakhya temple, Balaji and Umananda Temple. If time available enjoy River Cruise in the Bhramputra River until depart for Manas National Park is well known for Tiger, Rhino and Water Buffalo. The name of the park is originated from the Manas River. The Manas river is a major tributary of Brahmaputra River, which passes through the heart of the national park.In the evening arrive and check into hotel.

     Note : Manas National Park Safaris are closed on every Tuesday, so safari is not available on Tuesday.

  • Day 07 : Manas National Park( MorningJeep Safari& Elephant Safari)

    This morning enjoy the Jeep Safari in Manas National Park isa Project Tiger reserve, and an elephant reserve in Assam, India. Located in the Himalayan foothills. The park is known for its rare and endangered endemic wildlife such as the Assam roofed turtle, hispid hare, golden langur and pygmy hog. Manas is also famous for its population of the wild water buffalo. Because of its exceptional biodiversity, scenery, and variety of habitats, Manas National Park is a biosphere reserve and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Back to hotel for breakfast. Rest of the day free at leisure.

  • Day 08 : Manas – Guwahati ( 180Kms, 5 Hrs drive) / Kolkata ( By Flight)

    Take breakfast at hotel and spend time at leisure until transfer to Guwahati Airport to board the flight for Kolkata. On reaching we assist you to transfer to hotel.

  • Day 09 : Kolkata – Sundarbans National Park (140Kms, 3.5 Hrs drive)

    Post morning breakfast at hotel depart for Sundarbans through beautiful countryside and rural bazaar with a brief stopover for tea and refreshments. Arrival at Godkhali Jetty (travel by land ends here) by afternoon. Local guide will escort you to a cruiser. Tourists will cruise through rivers Gomor, Durgadhwani and Pitchkhali on banks of which lies Sunderban Tiger Camp overlooking the Sunderban Tiger Reserve (journey of four hours, including road journey of 2 hours and boat journey of 2 hours).

    Optional Stopover: Gosaba is one of the earliest human settlements in Sunderban. Tourists can visit house of Sir Danniel Hamilton – a Scottish banker who had initiated first co-operative movement of India in Sunderban.

    Upon arrival check into a cottage at Sunderban Tiger Camp. Take sumptuous lunch here. Later step out to observe endemic and migratory birds and wildlife while cruising through creeks and canals of Sunderban Tiger Reserve forest to Sajnekhali Watchtower and Mangrove Interpretation Centre. Have refreshments on board. As the sun sets in the distant horizon return to the resort to freshen up and later have tea with snacks around bonfire to view Adibasi(Tribal) dance performed by tribals of Sunderban. The folklore depicts their century old cultural traditions. They showcase happiness and hardship in their lives through dance and recitals of folk songs and dance. One can also go to the watchtower at the resort to observe flora and fauna within the resort (Sunderban Tiger Camp houses 64 species of birds till date). Dinner cooked with farm fresh vegetables is served at Fisherman Wharf dining hall which displays different tools used by locals to catch fish. Tourists call it a day in the Sunderban Tiger Camp.

  • Day 10 : Sunderbans Tigers Reserve

    Tourists wake up among chirping of birds and a wake up bell. Enjoy a hot cup of tea served in the balcony of room. Observe different species of birds hopping in nearby fruit trees near the cottage. Freshen up before heading for a morning cruise into the Sunderban Tiger Reserve through creeks and rivers heading to the Sudhanyakhali Watchtower. Walk through the caged walkways after disembarking at the watchtower. Keep looking for tigers, which are elusive in nature. Watch sweet water pond where you may see a deer drinking water or a monitor lizard basking under the sun as well as monkeys and wild boars. Breakfast is served on board with refreshments as tourists cruise back to Sunderban Tiger Camp.Rest of time free at leisure.

  • Day 11 : Sundarbans – Kolkata (140Kms, 4 Hrs drive) + Half Day Kolkata Sightseeing

    Take breakfast at hotel and spend time at leisure until depart for Kolakta. In the afternoon arrive and check into hotel.
    Post fresh up proceed for Half Day City Tours of Kolkata :-
    Kolkata which was once the capital of India and now is the capital of Bengal. Situated on the banks of river Hooghly, Kolkata was the first headquarter of the East India Company and later served as the capital of British India until 1912.

    Explore the city of Kolkata and visit the famous Howrah Bridge, National Museum (closed on Monday) Flower Market, St. Paul’s Cathedral Church, Victoria Memorial (Closed On Monday & National holidays) etc. Rest of time free at leisure.

  • Day 12 : Kolkata – Airport Departure (No Meal)

    Early morning scheduled transfer to Kolkata Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
    Tour Ends with happy memories.
