Walk in the footsteps of Lord Buddha on this 7 Nights / 8 Days spiritual journey across India and Nepal. Begin at Bodhgaya with meditation at the Mahabodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree, then visit Rajgir’s Vulture Peak and Nalanda University ruins. Continue to Patna, Kushinagar where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana, and Lumbini in Nepal, his sacred birthplace. Experience peace at Sravasti, home to Jetavana Monastery, before concluding in Varanasi with Sarnath, where Buddha gave his first sermon, and a serene Ganga Aarti. The tour ends with a return to Bodhgaya / Gaya. • Day 01 : Arrive Gaya Airport – transfer to Bodhgaya (10Kms, 15 Minutes’ drive)

  Scheduled arrive Gaya Airport, meet our representative who will warmly welcome with marigold flower and later assist you to transfer to hotel.

  
  

  After fresh up visit the Mahabodhi Mahavihara – where the Guatam Siddhartha turned himself as lord Buddha after getting Enlightenment. Bodhgaya is the most important sites of the main four Pilgrimage sites related to the life of Gautam Buddha. Later on visit the monastery of different Buddhist countries dedicated to Lord Buddha including Thai Monastery, Japanese Temple, 80ft. high Lord Buddha’s Statue, and Tibetan Monastery etc.

• Day 02 : Bodhgaya / Rajgir / Nalanda / Patna (200Kms)

  After breakfast at hotel check out and proceed for Rajgir (90Kms) which was the first capital of the Kingdom of Magadha. This Epic and historical city abound in myths and fables and much to say to our visitors. It is said that Lord Buddha had visited this hilly and beautiful city many times and also spent many rainy season. Visit Shanti Stupa by aerial ropeway atop the hills. Later visit Japanese Temple, Venuvana Monastry & Vulture’s peak.
  
  Later visit the ruins of the Nalanda University – one of the ancient and great Universities in the world for higher educations. This esteemed university was established during the reign of the Gupta emperor Kumargupta. Many building were added by Muaryan Emperor Ashoka the Great while a lot of Monasteries was built by Gupta Empire. Lord Buddha also visited this University many times.Afternoon drive for Patna (90Kms).
  Evening arrive and check into Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 03 : Patna /Vaishali (40Kms)/ Kushinagar (265Kms, 5.5Hrs drive)

  Breakfast at hotel and drive for Kushinagara (265Kms) – where Lord Buddha freed himself from the cycle of birth and death. Enroute visit Vaishali - the ancient capital city of the Licchavi, one of world’s first democratic republics in the vajjian Confederacy around the 6th century BC. At the time of Lord Buddha visit this city was very large, rich and prosperous and dotted with a lots of Lotus Ponds.   
  
  Afternoon arrive Kushinagara and check into Hotel. After fresh up explore the historical city which the lord Buddha choose to get his Nirvana. Many of the ruined Stupa and Vihara date back to 3rd   Centaury BCE to -05Centuary CE. The Mauryan Emperor Ashoka had added much construction to this site. Visit the Nirvana Temple & other Vihara.
  Overnight stay at hotel   

• Day 04 : Kushinagar / Lumbini (180Kms, 4Hrs drive)

  Post breakfast at hotel drive for Lumbini located in the foothills of the Himalaya, 25km east of the municipality of Kapilvastu where the Buddha is said to have lived till the age of 29. It is a place where queen Mayadevi is said to have given birth to Siddhartha Gautam. Afternoon arrive and check into Hotel. After fresh up visit Bodhi Tree and pond, Lumbini Garden, Chinese Maitreya Temple.
  Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 05 : Lumbini / Sravasti (200Kms, 4.5Hrs drive)

  Breakfast at hotel drive for Sravasti – one of the ancient cities of the ancient India. It is located on the banks of the river Rapti. It was the capital of the kingdom of Kosala. Lord Buddha had visited this beautiful city many times and also spent many rainy seasons. Afternoon arrive and check into Hotel. After fresh up Visit Jetavana Monastry, Buddha’s hut in Jetavana and many monasteries.

• Day 06 : Sravasti – Varanasi (300kms, 5.5Hrs drive)

  This morning depart for Varanasi. Afternoon arrive and check into hotel. Evening visit the river Ganges to witness the world Famous Ganges Arti.
  Back to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 07 : Varanasi – (Morning Boat ride + City Tour)

  Early morning visit the river Ganges to take the boat ride followed by view of Enchanting Sunrise. Back to Hotel for Breakfast.
  
   Later explore the city and Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Banaras Hindu University founded by a great social reformer Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya and Bharat Mata Temple. Afternoon excursion tour of Sarnath where lord Buddha given his first sermon after getting enlightened at Bodhgaya. Visit dhamekh Stupa and ruins of Deer Park, Mahabodhi Manavihar & Sarnath Museum.
  Rest of time free at leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel

• Day 08 : Varanasi – Airport departure

  Take breakfast in the hotel and later scheduled transfer to Varanasi Airport to board the flight for New Delhi. Upon arrival take onward connecting flight for your home town.
  Tour ends with happy memories.
