Day 01 : Arrive Guwahati Airport – drive to Shillong (95 Kms, 2.5 Hrs drive) via Umiam Lake + City Tours
Scheduled arrive Guwahati Airport, meet our representative who will welcome and depart for Shillong, the capital city of the state of Meghalaya. On the way visit the scenic Umiam Lake, one of the best places to visit in Shillong and admire its beauty. Formed after the construction of a dam, the lake is enclosed by lush green East Khasi Hills that offer the most breathtaking views of Shillong.
And if traveling with family or a sweetheart, you can enjoy a picnic in peace. The beauty of Umiam Lake in Shillong pulls nature lovers in huge numbers and entices thrill-seekers to indulge in water sports.
Things to do at Umiam Lake: Boating, water sports (yachting, water scootering, cruising), catching catfishes, trekking, camping at Lumpongdeng Island.
Later enjoy Shillong sightseeing including Wards Lake, Lady Hydari Park and Don Bosco Museum etc. Evening check into hotel.

Day 02 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee- Shillong (51Kms, 2.5Hrs drive)
Take breakfast in the hotel and later depart for Cherrapunjee is a very scenic drive enabling one to see the cloud covered hills and the deep gorges. At Cherrapunjee visit the limestone caves and the waterfalls. You can visit Nokalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, and Eco Park etc. In the evening drive back to hotel. Rest of time at leisure.

Day 03 : Excursion to Mawlynnong –Dawki – Shillong
Post breakfast embark for an excursion of Mawlynnong Village (Asia’s Clean Village) is the most beautiful village in East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. The village is referred to as the cleanest village in Asia and is also referred as ‘God’s own garden’. The natural beauty of Mawlynnong is the center of attractions for the tourists coming here for eco-tourism.Dawki is a small town in Jaintia Hills nestled around clear and beautiful Umgnot River, a must visit destination for nature lovers and travelers. Visit Root Bridge here. Later back to Shillong.

Day 04 : Shillong – Guwahati (70 Kms) + Sightseeing
Post breakfast at hotel and check out to depart for Guwahati. On reaching proceed for local sightseeing including kamakhya temple, Balaji and Umananda Temple. Evening check into hotel. Rest of time free at leisure.

Day 05 : Guwahati – Dirang (270, 7-8 Hours)
After breakfast leave for Dirang via Bhalukpong and Bomdila. En route visit Tipi Orchid Research Centre. In the afternoon arrive Dirang and check into hotel. Post fresh up explore the beautiful hilly town well known for its Hot Water Spring and Apple Orchards apart from its mesmerizing natural beauty. Rest of time free at leisure.

Day 06 : Dirang - Sightseeing / Tawang (140 Kms, 4 Hrs drive)
After breakfast visit Sangti valley- situated about 14 kilometres from Dirang.It is surrounded by the towering ranges of Eastern Himalayas, blessed with pleasant weather round the year with maybe some light snowfall in the winter months, covered with fruit orchards (kiwi fruit, apple, apricot, orange), dotted with pristine forests and meandering fast hill rivers . Later explore Thembang - a village within a fortified area measuring approximately 3.2 Acres. It is a host to several ancient and historical structures and has drawn the maximum attention for the fortified Dzong constructed using traditional technology of the region. Due to the richness of heritage structures found in the village, locals consider the village of Thembang itself as a monument.
If time and conditions permit, visit Kalachakra - a 500 years old monastery in Arunachal Pradesh, which makes it quite a famous tourist attraction in the state. The monastery is situated in a village of the same name. It is a beautiful little monastery with mosaic work. Mostly Buddhist monks and pilgrims are seen visiting this sacred place.
Later in the afternoon toward Tawang passing through typical Monpa village at Dirang. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) and spend some lovely times by the paradise lake.

Day 07 : Tawang – Sightseeing
After breakfast explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso during the 17th century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama and then returnto visit Tawang War Memorial. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 08 : Tawang- Bomdila ( 180 Kms, 6 Hours drive)
Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breathtaking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the Jaswant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial and down hill drive to Bomdila.
Overnight in Bomdila.

Day 09 : Bomdila – Guwahati (270 Kms, 7 Hrs drive)
After breakfast explore the Bomdila Monastery before leaving for Guwahati. In the evening arrive Guwahati and check into hotel.
Rest of time free at leisure.

Day 10 : Guwahati – Airport departure
Take breakfast at hotel and spend time at leisure until scheduled transfer to Guwahati Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
