Jaipur Bikaner with Jaisalmer 06N / 07D

A 7-day desert & heritage loop from Jaipur covering the Camel City Bikaner, Golden City Jaisalmer, and ending with extra time in the Pink City. Two nights in both Jaisalmer and Jaipur means no rushing through dunes or forts.

• Day 01 : Arrive Jaipur Airport – transfer to hotel

  Scheduled arrive Jaipur Airport, meet our representative who will welcome and assist you to transfer to hotel.
  Overnight stay in hotel.

• Day 02 : Jaipur – Bikaner (300 Kms, 7 Hrs drive) via Mandawa

  After breakfast drive to Bikaner. Enroute visit Mandawa, is a part of the Shekhawati region. It is midway between Jhunjhunu and Sikar. On reaching explore the village and visit Nawalgarh Fort (Bala Kila Fort) -built by Thakur Nawal Singh founded in 1737 AD followed by Roop Niwas Palace - about one km from the Nawalgarh fort is the salubrious Roop Niwas Palace built by Thakur Roop Singh Ji and Rawal Madan Singh Ji. The palace is enchanting with a well-laid garden and fountains. Later in afternoon depart for Bikaner. In the evening arrive and check into hotel.

• Day 03 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer ( 330 Kms, 6 Hours drive)

  After breakfast at hotel enjoy half day city tour including Junagarh Fort, Camel Breeding Farm & Karni Mata Temple, is famous for its unique population of thousands of rats, considered sacred and known as “Kabbas”. Devotees flock to the temple to seek blessings and believe that spotting a white among the swarm is especially auspicious. In the afternoon check out to depart for Jaisalmer. In the evening and check into hotel.

• Day 04 : Jaisalmer – Sightseeing / Stay in Sam Sand Dune Desert

  Post morning breakfast check out the hotel proceed for city tour of Jaisalmer covering Jaisalmer Fort – built on the highest point of the Tricuta hill, Sun Gate. Outstanding features are Megh Durbar & various temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon–Ki-Haveli – some of the beautiful mansions with stone carving and lattice work of breath taking intricacy.
  
  Later in the afternoon transfer to Sam Dune Village for stay in tented accommodation. Post check in enjoy the desert activities including camel ride followed by Rajasthani Folk Dance and Dinner.
  Overnight stay in Tent.

• Day 05 : Jaisalmer – Jaipur ( 500 KMS, 8 Hrs drive)

  Post breakfast in the resort check out and depart for Jaipur. Enroute pass through the local villages of Rajasthan , desert etc. In the evening arrive and check into hotel.

• Day 06 : Jaipur – Full Day Sightseeing

  Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing including Amber fort to see the fabulous Amber Fort. En-route to Amber you will stop and see the `Palace of Winds’, otherwise known as Hawa Mahal. It is really an elaborate facade behind which the ladies of the court used to watch the daily goings on in the street below.
  
  Afternoon visiting the City Palace, a famous landmark that is expanded over a large area as it occupies one seventh of the city. Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar or Astronomical Observatory made by the Maharaja of Jaipur. It has also been included in the world heritage lists. You will also have the opportunity to wander in the local markets where you can shop for souvenirs, traditional Rajasthani attires, skilful art craft of the region etc. Rest of time free at leisure / Own activities.

• Day 07 : Jaipur – Airport departure

  Early morning check out and scheduled transfer to Jaipur Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
