A mix of Kerala’s backwaters and Tamil Nadu’s temple heritage: start with Madurai’s Meenakshi Temple and Rameshwaram’s Ramanathaswamy Jyotirlinga, then head into Kerala for backwater cruises in Alleppey, tea gardens in Munnar, and the beaches/temples of Kochi and Kovalam.

• Day 01 : Arrive Thrissur Rly station – Guruvayur (80Kms, 2 Hrs drive)

  Scheduled arrive Thrissur Rly station, meet our representative who will being the city of Thrissur is also known as the Cultural Capital of Kerala because of its cultural, spiritual and religious leanings throughout history. The city hosts the Thrissur Pooram festival, the most colorful and spectacular temple festival in Kerala. Thrissur has a large number of well-known temples including the Vadakkumnathan temple, Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple, and Paramekkavu temples etc. Later proceed to Guruvayur. On reaching check into hotel. Post fresh up visit Guruvayur Shri Krishna Temple. Rest of time free at leisure.

• Day 02 : Guruvayur – Kalady – Alleppey (180 Kms, 4 Hrs drive)

  Post breakfast at hotel depart for Alleppey is known for backwater. Enroute visit Kalady (or Kaladi) in Kerala, India, is famous as the birthplace of the 9th-century Indian philosopher Adi Shankara and is a significant Hindu pilgrimage center, particularly for followers of Advaita Vedanta, featuring shrines, temples (like the Sringeri Mutt), and sites related to Shankara's life, situated on the banks of the Periyar River. Post prayers continue your drive to Alleppey. On arrival check in to houseboat for a Kerala houseboat tour over the scenic backwaters. Sit back and relax at the houseboat and enjoy the scenic beauty as the boat passes through the emerald green paddy fields, refreshing natural beauty, exotic resorts and the rustic villages.

• Day 03 : Alleppey – Trivandrum (170Kms, 4.5 Hrs drive)

  Post breakfast at Houseboat depart for Trivandrum. On reaching check into hotel. Later proceed for Trivandrum sightseeing including Padmanabha Swamy Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple is a blend of the Kerala and Dravidian styles of architecture located inside the East Fort. Later you can visit the Aazhimala Shiva Temple is a Hindu temple located on the coast of the Arabian Sea near Vizhinjam in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, India. Dedicated to Shiva, the temple is known for the 18 m (58 ft) tall Gangadhareshwara sculpture, which is the tallest Shiva sculpture in Kerala.
  Rest of time free at leisure or visit the Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay in hotel.

• Day 04 : Trivandrum – Kanyakumari (100Kms, 3Hrs drive)

  After breakfast at hotel drive for Kanyakumari, located at the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula is the confluence of three large oceans such as Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean & Arabian Sea. It is one the best tourist destination in India and increasingly gaining importance due to its enchanting natural beauty and seashore. After fresh visit Kanyakumari Temple – dedicated to Kanyakumari, the manifestation of the universal mother as a young maiden bride, followed by Vivekananda rock memorial by ferry boat ride and Gandhi Mandapam – built to honor one of the greatest Indian leaders – Mahatma Gandhi. Evening enjoy Sunset view along the coast.

• Day 05 : Kanyakumari – Rameswaram (330Kms, 6 Hrs drive)

  Post breakfast at hotel depart for Rameswaram. In the afternoon arrive and check into hotel.
  
  After some rest explore Rameshwaram is an important pilgrim tourist destination just equivalent to Benaras. The presiding deity here is in the form of Linga with name of Sriramanatha swamy temple. It is one of the twelve jyotirlingas.The Grandest part of the temple is the 1219m pillared corridor consisting of 3.6m high granite pillars, rich carved and well proportioned. Visit Ramanathswamy temple, Sita Kund & Rama’s bridge etc.

• Day 06 : Rameshwaram – Madurai (180Kms, 4 Hrs drive)

  After breakfast drive to Madurai. On arrival check into Hotel. After fresh up explore the temple town which is a 2,600 years old famous temple town of south India. Afternoon, visit the famous Meenakshi Temple, Mariamman Teppakulam (Great Tank) and the Palace of Tirumalai Nayak. In the evening, revisit the Meenakshi Temple for prayer ceremony.
  Overnight stay will be at Madurai.

• Day 07 : Madurai – Airport / Railway station departure

  Post breakfast at hotel spend time at leisure / own activities until scheduled transfer to Madurai Airport / Railway station to board the flight / train for onward journey.
